Bethany & Brennon….

Wow……….what a day!!! Last Saturday was Amazing for Bethany and Brennon! They were married at the Family Church and had a fabulous reception at Sunny Meade. We love these guys!! They have impeccable style and are two wonderful individuals!! Bethany and Brennon love to antique and love vintage things as some of you guys might remember from their engagement portraits! Their wedding was just beautiful……………..what do you think?

This little dress is a dress that Mrs. Linda, Bethany’s Mom made for her Barbie’s when she was a little girl…….it was her “something blue!”

This broach is a family heirloom…..it has been passed down from her great grandmother to Bethany and she loves “Cameo’s,” so she put it on her dress and also put one on her bouquet that we bought for her!

Special Delivery: The letter Bethany wrote for Brennon and had delivered to him before the wedding!

The Winners Are………….

Well guys after great deliberation and lots of contemplating we at StacyLandryPhotography decided to have one of our friends and frequent second shooters, Amy Muffoletto, choose the winner of our current contest!!! After she reviewed about 32 contest entries she gave us a call and told us that there was ABSOLUTELY no way that there could only be ONE winner!!!!! So………..because we love you guys!!!! We decided to choose three multiple winners with first place receiving the main contest prize indicated on the original post!!! One for One

Ok for those of you who know me you know how much I LOVE SHOES!! And for those of you who don’t know me I LOVE SHOES!!!! Well for close to two years now I have been wanting, loving and obsessing over a specific shoe…………TOMS SHOES!!! Due to building my daughter’s shoe collection (she has my love for shoes)my shoe obsession was put on the back burner. But thanks to my loving husband he ordered a pair for my birthday and I was so excited they came in TODAY!!!

The coolest thing you need to know about TOMS SHOES is that when you buy a pair of shoes for yourself Toms gives a pair to a needy child, it’s called one for one. It just doesn’t get any better than that, buying something I love and helping a child in the process. Toms shoes you ROCK!!

So to show to you how much I love these shoes, the minute they came in I took out my camera and had a little shoe shoot with them. And then when Matt(hubby) woke up I had him take a few shots of me in them. I am soooooo excited to show them to you. Kayla & Hoyt’s Wedding Day…..

WoW! What a Wedding this was……..Kayla and Hoyt are such awesome individuals!!! They have been together for many years now and have both been looking forward to this special COLD day!!! It was FREEEEZING on January 09, 2010 when Kayla and Hoyt were married. I have been really excited about shooting this wedding because not only was it going to a phenomenal wedding but some of my childhood friends were going to be there!!! It was so nice to see all of them!!! I wish Kelly would have been there but we will meet up next time!!! Hope you are feeling better Kelly!!!

Anyway….Kayla’s day started off with hair and makeup at the Studio Salon in downtown Breaux Bridge…. After this we headed over to Kayla’s brother’s house to wait for the bridesmaids to finish getting ready!!! Next it was off to L’Eglise where Kayla and Hoyt decided to have “The First LOOK!” …………… This is so much fun!!!! The first look is when we set the stage and the bride and groom get to see each other before the wedding!!! I know some of you traditional people DON’T like this! But there are some advantages: get the wedding jitters out of your system for both the bride and groom and also you have some GREAT portraits!!!! Kayla and Hoyt were our first couple to decide on the first look and we were very pleased!!! They were very sweet when they first looked at each other, Hoyt, saying, “You look beautiful!” Everyone together, “AWWWWWWWWW!”

The party was fabulous and the wedding exquisite!!! I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak and once again, thanks to a ROCKIN’ bride and groom!

Kayla and Hoyt…….ya’ll are the best!
