Happy 4th of July…….

Today we were invited to our friends house in Sugar Mill Pond; Marti, Jake, and “Oliva,” yes, “Oliva!!!!” Emmy does call her “O-liva!” Unfortunately Jake had to work……….sucks!!!!! Every year Sugar Mill Pond has a Fourth of July Celebration on the 3rd of July. They have live music, food, friends, family, fireworks and pony rides…….Well, Emmy and Oliva were having a blast petting the “poo-ny,” yes Emmy calls it a “pooooo-ny!” “Mommy I pet the pooooo-ny!” Anyway Emmy was petting away and brushing the “pooooo-ny” and all of a sudden the “pooooo-ny” looked at her…………yes looked at her; not sneezed on her, licked her, or sniffed her…..but, yes looked at her!!!! She dropped the the brush, threw her hands in the air and sqeeeeeeeled in deafening tones like a little girl; yelling, “Mommie, I scared….” Man it was hilarious! Oliva was not scared of the pooooo-ny, she tried to poke the poooo-ny’s eyes out!! We watched the fireworks display and had steak, potatoes, and salad…….thanks Aunt Marti and Ms. Claire…….we had a blast!

Caron & Courtney E-Session…..

Well our friend Caron Gibson is getting married and we were so happy to hear that she wanted Matt and I to take her pictures. And another surprise is the wedding is in less then a month, whew. I had Courtney and Caron meet me in downtown Lafayette, I thought it would be interesting since I’ve never done an E-session there. It rocked, I’m so glad I decided on downtown Lafayette. Courtney is a hard working mans, man from Mississippi with a cute little twang of an accent who showed his love for Caron in the cutest of ways: by laughing at her when she couldn’t get her boots off, but holding her at the same time. He was a real trooper even though we were sweating our hiney’s off, LOL!!! And I have only one thing to say about Caron she looks so happy in LOVE!! Caron and her fiance were up for what ever I wanted, even in 100 degree weather, we braved the weather and got some fun, awesome, different shots, yeah!!!!! Caron and Courtney I wish you nothing but the best and may you enjoy all that life has to offer.

Haygen and Bella……

Today was a fun day………. Mr. Haygen and Ms. Bella were a little shy at first but warmed up real quick!!!! They are cousins and enjoy playing with each other!!!! Man it has been so HOT lately……..we were so glad to start the shoot at 8 a.m…….it never got tooooo HOT!!! Perfect timing. Haygen had a blast playing in the grass and Bella kept hugging and kissing him!!!! They were so cute together……………

Reese……..The Little Ham

Today Reese showed us what it’s all about………………..HER!!! She was truly the first kid to be such a ham; it was awesome!!! She has a very electrifying personality. And yes folks she sings, dances and lets you know that she wants her picture taken. What a cutie patutie, I think Miss Reese has entertainment in her future, watch out American Idol here she comes!!! Needless to say she rocked our socks off today with those beautiful green eyes and the confidence to say “I’m the best I’ve ever seen!” And yes she really said this after the shoot was over, Reese YOU ROCK!!!!!
