Well, last night was the BIG NIGHT, when my husband, Tommy and I, found out the sex of our baby!  Matt and Stacy threw us a GENDER PARTY. What’s a gender party you say?  Listen to our little STORY:

Well, Stacy came with us to our ultrasound on Wednesday morning!   The ultra sound tech wrote down the sex of the baby, and placed it in an envelope without telling us the sex of the baby!  Stacy rushed it over to Crystal at Crystal Weddings.  Crystal was waiting with anticipation for she would be the only one to know the BIG surprise.  She designed a cake with the inside holding the BIG surprise……..BOY or GIRL (blue or pink).  Yes, that’s right the cake batter was dyed the color that coordinates to a boy or a girl!!! We had supper celebration with our family and friends at O’Charleys in Lafayette (Thanks so much for the Fabulous accommodations and to our wonderful servers, Alexa and Jennifer) .  After we ate it was time for the BIG reveal.  Everyone looked on in anticipation and we sliced the cake………PINK….a GIRL!  Her name will be Anniston Clare.   Her name is spelt without an “I” because my maiden name is Clare.  She is expected to bless our family on January 11, 2011.  We are so excited and can’t wait for her to arrive!!!!!

On August 12, 2010 @ 8:22 a.m. Ms. Kamile Eve was born via C-Section to the proud parents of Misti and Todd Delahoussaye…  Ms. Kamile weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 19 and 3/4 inches long!!! She was the most alert newborn that I have ever seen….and I have seen alot of newborns working in the NURSERY!!! She came out and was ready for the world!!! My husband, Matt, couldn’t have been more excited…..because as most of you know; Ms. Kamile is his first Godchild and he is super excited!!!!! Guys she is absolutely a DOLL and we can’t wait to spoil her ROTTEN!!!!!! Congratulations Mommie and Daddie and BIG BROTHER, Kai!!!!

A few weeks ago we took two little DIVA’s newborn portraits!!! Their mom and dad won a session in our contest we had a few months ago!!!! Well ,they are definitely cutie patutie’s……They both have totally opposite personalities!!! Jovi……the ROCKER was definitely the feisty one….and Ms. Rynn….well she was laid back and calm, cool, and collected.  We really enjoyed hanging out with you guys……

One day two of the shoot I sat in……yep you guessed it!!! Some dog poopie!!! Initially we thought everything was cool and I had missed it, but I am here to tell you that NOPE I didn’t!!!! Score!!! It stunk the car pretty BAD!!!!! Well guys……enjoy your session and good luck!!!

Can you tell which one is Rynn? and which one is Jovi?

You might recognize John & Kate, we shot there wedding in Jan. 2009.  We had the esteemed pleasure of taking some shots of their beautiful, bouncing, baby boy Henry.  His delivery story is quite a funny one, Kate was told he wasn’t ready and he would probably go another week.  Which was completely fine with them cause they had a very busy weekend planned; a little brothers state championship baseball game and his high school graduation and a family crawfish boil (the best part, yummy!).  Well, Henry had other plans, Thursday Kate’s water broke and the game of labor began!!!!!

Luckily, all the grandparents were available for the special delivery and a couple of aunts and uncles, too!!!  Oh yeah, that’s right they were crazy excited!! John’s dad was so excited about the arrival of his first grandchild that I caught a couple shots during Kate’s delivery of him with his ear on the door waiting for the beautiful sound of a newborns cry, hehe, to cute!!  O, and Kate’s mom was crying tears of joy to the sound of her newest grandbaby, she’s already an old pro with a few grandsons under her belt.  These two sets of grandparents are sure to have Henry spoiled in no time!!!!!

John & Kate, make sure you enjoy every little part of this wonderful newborn stage because it goes O, so very fast!!!  Just be sure to remember to have a date night every now and then.  You guys are going to make such great parents and I can’t wait to see it all unfold.  We love you guys take care of that beautiful, precious baby boy.
