Last week we had our last Senior Shoot of the season!!! Alana is a Senior at St. Martinville High School and is eager to be finished with school to go off to college!!! She is excited and ready for the real world, i guess!!! I’m sure her mom is ready for her to fly, also!!! We shot Alana’s Session in downtown St. Martinville and definitely found some treasures!!! She was a great sport despite the heat that was upon us for this particular day!!! Alana good luck with college and hope you enjoy your portraits!

Man-O-Man……What a Crazy Senior Shoot this was last week!!! Rikki is such a fun person!!!! We had the best time with her outgoing personality!!!  We started out the day downtown Lafayette for some radomness!!!! After…..we headed to a new SECRET location that we found with the help of Heather and her ROCKIN’ Friend Mr. Jay!!!!! Thanks Jay!!! It was the coolest treasure chest of Graffiti EVER!!!! There was tons of options and we will definitely be back!!!!!! After Rikki Rocked it out in the graffiti madness we headed to the train track………

The train track RIGHT!!!! We were having a good ole’ time shooting on some of the parked carts!!! Well, all of a sudden we heard this BIG noise, like on an 18-wheeler when they release some kind of pressure (whatever), it was LOUD!!! Well, Rikki jumped off of the train in about two seconds, Matt was stuck on the train with the camera and two lenses and a petrified face, I ran fast, and Heather and Tara stood there laughing at the rest of us dummies!!! It scared the crap out of us!!!! OMG! It was hilarious!!!!

ROCKIN’ like RIKKI!

Man……it just keeps gettin’ crazier, funnier, and just plain sillier………..we had the BEST time today with Ms. Morgan, who is a Senior at Teurlings Catholic High School!!!  She had an amazing sense of style and was ready to ROCK it out!!!!! The first stop that we made in downtown Breaux Bridge was on the side of the road………we found an old couch someone was trashing!!!! Well guess what……..we hauled it in the middle of the road and back to the side several times for traffic to pass!!! Now………..it is ours!!! Matt made his brother pick it up………Others Trash is Others Treasures, RIGHT!!!! It was a great place to start off Mrogan’s Session……….soon we headed back downtown for some more fun!!!  Morgan was full of life and energy!!!! We couldn’t have had a more relaxed and fun filled session!!!  Thanks Morgan!!!!

So at this abandoned house that we frequent to shoot at we found the coolest thing…..so we took a portrait of it to show you guys!!! It is a telephone book for St. Martinville, LA from 1964……..yes 1964!!! So Cool!!!  While we were shooting in the field of this abandoned house Morgan found a lady bug who kept trying to fly away! We managed to get a few images before she flew away!!!

We recently had another Senior Shoot in downtown Lafayette with Ms. Abby!!! It was quite humid and HOTTTTTTTT………..but Ms. Abby toughed it out!  We had a great time especially with the humor of her Mom, Ms. Anne………..she is hilarious!!! At one point the sun was very bright and Ms. Anne told Abby to open her eyes! Abby said it was hard because of the sun…….so her mother quickly replied…..well Abby you have to rise above that!!! That was just one of the many funnies Ms. Anne came up with!!!

We had a blast raiding the Recycled Bicycle store downtown Lafayette! Thanks guys for letting us borrow your bikes!!! They ROCK!! Go check them out next to Agave!!!!
