YaY……..I am so EXCITED to introduce a new SERVICE we are offering here at Stacy Landry Photography….Whoop! Whoop!!!!!   And yeah it’s called “THE SHOOT BOOTH”.  Let’s see if I can explain what the shoot booth IS……….Hmmmmm.  Ok, so this is not your grandma’s photobooth; no trying to squeeze  4 or more people in a lil booth that truly only fits 2 at most.  It’s a modern twist on an old fashion good time.  So, what happens is……we set up our shoot booth at your event or wedding and bring lots of fun props for you and your guests to play with!  You know how you always have pictures at weddings or events of your family and friends, you know the ones, that don’t dance or act silly [aunt sally and grandpa frank].  Well, with our shoot booth you can get pictures of these people expressing their personalities in fun quirky ways.  And trust me, my team and I have lots of ways to get your family and friends involved!  Hope you guys enjoy the pictures from our first shoot booth experience.

Helen and Rodney have enjoyed 50 years together and are still in LOVE as much as they were 50 years ago!!! A few weeks ago they celebrated their 50 years together at the Petroleum Club.  Their family and friends were all present to celebrate this huge milestone in their lives!!! Hope you guys enjoyed this special occasion!!! Here’s to another 50 years!!!!

Well, last night was the BIG NIGHT, when my husband, Tommy and I, found out the sex of our baby!  Matt and Stacy threw us a GENDER PARTY. What’s a gender party you say?  Listen to our little STORY:

Well, Stacy came with us to our ultrasound on Wednesday morning!   The ultra sound tech wrote down the sex of the baby, and placed it in an envelope without telling us the sex of the baby!  Stacy rushed it over to Crystal at Crystal Weddings.  Crystal was waiting with anticipation for she would be the only one to know the BIG surprise.  She designed a cake with the inside holding the BIG surprise……..BOY or GIRL (blue or pink).  Yes, that’s right the cake batter was dyed the color that coordinates to a boy or a girl!!! We had supper celebration with our family and friends at O’Charleys in Lafayette (Thanks so much for the Fabulous accommodations and to our wonderful servers, Alexa and Jennifer) .  After we ate it was time for the BIG reveal.  Everyone looked on in anticipation and we sliced the cake………PINK….a GIRL!  Her name will be Anniston Clare.   Her name is spelt without an “I” because my maiden name is Clare.  She is expected to bless our family on January 11, 2011.  We are so excited and can’t wait for her to arrive!!!!!

Champagne’s Bakery in Breaux Bridge, LA is at it again!!!! They have once again altered the “Secret” family recipe, “Pink Cookies.”  This time it not only has the pink cookie texture, but all kinds of new FLAVORS!!!! Let me tell you they are AMAZING!!!! I have always been a fan of the pink cookie, but now with these new flavors……….they are sure to make some more pink cookie fans!!!! I have no idea which new flavor is my favorite, but they are so good and YES, I taste tested EVERY ONE!!!! Yummmmmmmy!!!!

The new flavors are: chocolate covered strawberry, chocolate covered cherry, chocolate covered peanut butter, chocolate covered banana, s’mores, lemon, apple pie, georgia peach, key lime pie, pina coloda, and coconut.

With the big reveal of the new flavor line, our friend, Amy Muffoletto is super talented and is a party planner.  She has been recreating the candy bar lately with a few of her tricks!!! She came along on the shoot to set up a “cookie bar!”  These tables can be tailored to your event or wedding.  They are great for grooms “cookie tables” and come in any color!!!!!
