This past Tuesday the triple threat (Matt, Heather, and myself) headed to Baton Rouge for a “Just Because” Session.  Chris and Tricia were one of the winners from our contest we had in January that Amy chose.  They are a hilarious couple!!! Chris is always crackin’ jokes and Tricia just smiles and laughs at ALL his jokes and sayings.  They have been together for quite some time now and are still so in LOVE!!! They look at each other as if they were married two months ago!!! It is quite refreshing!!! They were up for anything and man, they meant anything!!! The water fountains were so much fun!

There was never a dull moment with the jokes from Chris!!!! “You better not walk too fast or your bush will catch on fire!” and “If you catch a blow out we still have your flip-flops!”  It was nothing but giggles from start to finish!! Guys you are so much fun and we loved it!!!

My Favorite of the DAY!

Well today unfortunately Stacy had plans to attend a function for an upcoming wedding she will be in and couldn’t come on today’s shoot!!! Boo!!! But Heather and I……….well I think we ROCKED it OUT!!!! Tiffany and Lane have been married for quite some time now and have been wanting new portraits taken!!! They are a beautiful couple and have a great sense of Fashion!!!! They were willing to do anything we asked them to!!!! Sorry Lane……I hope wifey got the stains out of your pants!!! I promise it was worth it for the shot!!! I always tell Emerson…….”It hurts to be Beautiful!” LOL! Guys I hope you had as much fun as we did!!! Ya’ll were some troopers!!! Thank GOD the Po-Po didn’t come after us!!! At the run down house with the car……well you know!! There was this lady who was chain smoking on her front porch and calling all sorts of people on her phone!!! Right after we finished with this location the Po-Po sure passed us up……looking like they were going towards where we were shooting!! Oh well…….sorry to the chain smoker nosey lady!!! See you next time!!!!

It was definitely a beautiful and successful day!!! Thanks so much Tiffany and Lane and to Heather who ROCKED it OUT!!! Couldn’t have done it without you!!!!

WoW…….just about sums it up!!! What an AH-Mazing couple with such a great sense of STYLE……..  Bethany has been planning for this Engagement Shoot for quite sometime.  A few weeks after Bethany and Brennan booked us to shoot their wedding she gave us a call regarding there E-Session……..She wanted to know if we would be willing to travel to St. Francisville, LA and shoot their session at places that really mean something to them!!!!! We were so excited to hear her express concern about making her portraits personal………This is what we strive to capture…..the meaning of You as a Couple!

Bethany and Brennan have an interesting LOVE story…..they met at Home Bank where Bethany is a bank teller!! But Brennan is a client, not an co-worker, hehe!! Bethany had run a few transactions for Brennan……when one day Brennan went back to her Home Bank branch to ask her on a date and the rest is HISTORY!!!

These two enjoy lots of things together………they enjoy spending their time reading, eating chocolate, touring plantation homes, and antique shopping!!! So it was only just PERFECT that we shoot their engagements amongst some of the things they enjoy most!!! We started out our day bright and early driving to St. Francisville.  When we arrived we went to Rosedown Plantation Home……this is their favorite Plantation and have toured it before and knew about its beauty!  WoW! We spent hours here………after we shot at the Plantation we ate at a local Pizza joint and then headed off to do some antiquing at Bohemianville Antiques!!! Bethany and Brennan thanks so much for a wonderful day!!! You guys are so in LOVE with each other and have AH-Mazing Chemistry.  We had a blast and look forward to getting to know you guys in the near future!!! We are really excited about your wedding!!!! Brennan thanks for being a good sport………..YOU GUYS ROCKED this shoot out! It was VERY HARD to choose images for the BLOG and yes there is definitely LOTS more to choose from!!!

Hoyt and Kayla are going to be wed in a few short months……in their GTKY packet, they told us that they were very comfortable with one another!!! They were right!! They are so in LOVE and very comfortable with each other!  These guys are GREAT! They brought their entourage with them for the this shoot: Kayla’s sister, Lauren and Hoyt’s brother, Heathe………..We had a BLAST for their E-Session!! If we weren’t laughing we were crying because we were laughing so much!!! These guys are so in LOVE and we can’t wait for their wedding at L’Eglise in January!!!
