Whoop!!!!!   And yeah it’s called “THE SHOOT BOOTH”.  Let’s see if I can explain what the shoot booth IS……….Hmmmmm.  Ok, so this is not your grandma’s photobooth; no trying to squeeze  4 or more people in a lil booth that truly only fits 2 at most.  It’s a modern twist on an old fashion good time.  So, what happens is……we set up our shoot booth at your event or wedding and bring lots of fun props for you and your guests to play with!  You know how you always have pictures at weddings or events of your family and friends, you know the ones, that don’t dance or act silly [aunt sally and grandpa frank].  Well, with our shoot booth you can get pictures of these people expressing their personalities in fun quirky ways.  And trust me, my team and I have lots of ways to get your family and friends involved!  Hope you guys enjoy the pictures from our first shoot booth experience.

There was a breeze in the air and it felt wonderful to not sweat!! Some of you guys might remember Brooklyn, we shot her when she turned 1! She has definitely grown a whole lot!  Well, Ms. Brooklyn now has a little brother and she loves helping take care of him and given him hugs and kisses!!! Guys you have a beautiful family!!!

She is a beautiful little princess that was born a few weeks ago to Matt’s cousin, Misti Delahoussaye and her husband, Todd Delahoussaye!  She is SPOILED rotten already, as if that’s hard to believe!!! She was the easiest newborn to shoot hands down, to date……..the reason that she was so easy to shoot is because she was less than 10 days old for her portraits and SLEPT the entire time!!! It was wonderful!!! She is too cute and we can’t wait to hear what you have to say about her sweet portraits!!!!

Baldwin!!! All you CASINO goers know exactly where I am talkin’ about!!! The Rodriguez family owns a plantation home in Baldwin and have a HUGE family!!! The plantation home has been in their family for years and has lots of really COOL vintage things, just what we LIKE!!!! Rock, who we met in college has been wanting to update the family portraits for sometime now!!! So, on his BIRTHDAY we celebrated with a HUGE family photoshoot!!! These people were great…..and a really FUN group!!!! Thanks so much for being so hospitable to Matt, Heather and myself!!! We had a really good time and enjoyed catching up with an old friend!!!!!

What’s a gender party you say?  Listen to our little STORY:

Well, Stacy came with us to our ultrasound on Wednesday morning!   The ultra sound tech wrote down the sex of the baby, and placed it in an envelope without telling us the sex of the baby!  Stacy rushed it over to Crystal at Crystal Weddings.  Crystal was waiting with anticipation for she would be the only one to know the BIG surprise.  She designed a cake with the inside holding the BIG surprise……..BOY or GIRL (blue or pink).  Yes, that’s right the cake batter was dyed the color that coordinates to a boy or a girl!!! We had supper celebration with our family and friends at O’Charleys in Lafayette (Thanks so much for the Fabulous accommodations and to our wonderful servers, Alexa and Jennifer) .  After we ate it was time for the BIG reveal.  Everyone looked on in anticipation and we sliced the cake………PINK….a GIRL!  Her name will be Anniston Clare.   Her name is spelt without an “I” because my maiden name is Clare.  She is expected to bless our family on January 11, 2011.  We are so excited and can’t wait for her to arrive!!!!!

She was the most alert newborn that I have ever seen….and I have seen alot of newborns working in the NURSERY!!! She came out and was ready for the world!!! My husband, Matt, couldn’t have been more excited…..because as most of you know; Ms. Kamile is his first Godchild and he is super excited!!!!! Guys she is absolutely a DOLL and we can’t wait to spoil her ROTTEN!!!!!! Congratulations Mommie and Daddie and BIG BROTHER, Kai!!!!

Their mom and dad won a session in our contest we had a few months ago!!!! Well ,they are definitely cutie patutie’s……They both have totally opposite personalities!!! Jovi……the ROCKER was definitely the feisty one….and Ms. Rynn….well she was laid back and calm, cool, and collected.  We really enjoyed hanging out with you guys……

One day two of the shoot I sat in……yep you guessed it!!! Some dog poopie!!! Initially we thought everything was cool and I had missed it, but I am here to tell you that NOPE I didn’t!!!! Score!!! It stunk the car pretty BAD!!!!! Well guys……enjoy your session and good luck!!!

Dear Beautiful Girl,

It is important to remember that no one has the right or the power to take away your choices, your thoughts or the essence of who you are.

Lots of things in life can be taken from us, but most of the things that are most valuable can not.  The things that matter most can not be seen, and really CAN be protected fiercely by our own selves so that they are not violated or crushed in any way.  No person and no situation can make us feel bad or small or stuck unless we allow it to.  It is our choice.

Be careful with your dreams, be kind to them.  Protect your choices and your ability to make them.  Make good choices so that you are not chained by the consequences of poor ones.  Watch your thoughts and make sure that what you want most is what you are thinking most.  Stand up for what you believe in and don’t settle for anything else.

We can decide what kind of life we want to have, and we are the ONLY ones who can decide.  We can’t wait around for things to happen, we must take action to make them happen. No more excuses, baby……….let’s do this.

This family was really a fun bunch to hang out with!!! They were definitely a silly and energetic family!!! One of the oldest sisters has a “Kid Sister” doll that she has had since she was a little girl….which somehow stayed at Grandma’s house and all of the grandchildren play with her when they frequent her home!!! Well since growing up and not having any kids it is a huge family JOKE that “Kid Sister” is part of their little family!!! So……..please check her out…..she made it into alot of the family portraits!!! She is quite a cute kid along with all the REAL grandkids!!!!  Thanks so much Barousse Family!!
