We were so excited to do this engagement session, it was in Destin, woo-hoo!!  Misti and Todd invited us to be the witnesses at their beach front ceremony and we accepted under the condition that we would take their E-session in Destin.  It was well worth the 2 1/2 year wait for their wedding, the ceremony was fabulous,intimate and very personal.

Matt and I have been wanting to do a beach E -session for a long time, Misti and Todd did not disappoint!!!  They were ready for anything and completely enjoyed one another as we looked on with cameras ready.  The beach setting was gorgeous, waves crashing, sun shining, one of the best looking couples I know and of course LOVE coming through in each and every image.

Misti and Todd walked and talked, just really enjoyed each other. At one time Todd whispered something to Misti, I thought it was so sweet, she on the other hand turned beat red.  It was the cutest thing ever.  There is no mistaking that they are in LOVE, the way that they look at one another, it’s undeniable. The sparkle in Todd’s eye when he talks about Misti she is the one for him theirs no denying.  And Misti’s smile, when Todd pulls her in close, could light up any room.

Todd and Misti thank you for making our E-session dream come true.  Thanks for an awesome trip to Destin.  And again the Wedding was perfect, beautiful setting, great weather and two of the most in love people I’ve seen.  May your marriage be blessed in all the ways possible and may you continue to love one another as much as you did on the very day of your wedding.

Although Emerson is 7 months older than Kai they play so well together.  We had a friday night play date at Cousin Kai’s house last week and boy did Emerson have a blast.  Kai’s house is a wonderful place to play; the back yard is fenced in and he has some pretty awesome backyard toys, such as a sandbox with OMG purple sand, how cool is that.

Kai’s mommie MISTI and Emerson’s daddie MATT are first cousin’s and have been close since Misti’s birth, three years after Matt. Which from what I hear rocked Matt’s only grandchild world, lol!  Didn’t phase Emerson one bit, in her eyes Kai is hers.  ”My KAI” have been her words since she could speak .  Nothing much has changed she still says “my Kai” and gets overly excited when we mentioned his name ” Yeah Kai, I go see Kai” while jumping around.

Well this night at Kai’s house was no exception she kept saying “Kai coming”, “I go to Kai’s house”.  And once we got there screaming “I play Kai” over and over until she saw him.  Kai on the other hand took a little longer to warm up he had a long day. He warmed up in no time and they were off in play date heaven.  It was soooo incredibly nice to be able to just let them play in the backyard without having to worry thanks to the wonderful nicely fenced in backyard, YEAH!!!

Oh yeah and the grownups had good time too, we were inside sipping some delicious white wine and making spaghetti for supper. We had an awesome night, with lots of laughter and talking late into the night.  Can’t wait to do it again and maybe Kai’s daddy will be home for the fun.

Taho, taho!  They couldn’t say Taco, but they wanted Misti to make them a Taco with their towels. She only did about 10x a piece, lol!!

Well…….as most of you guys know we usually don’t shoot in August because it is so HOT!!!! But……we had to reschedule the Broussard Kids shoot a few times because Mr. Parker, the youngest child kept getting sick!!! But today was perfect………..except for the HEAT!!!! The kids are beautiful, very well mannered and behaved and lots of FUN!!! Mom, really they were excellent!! My husband went to grade school and high school with Claire, the mommie.  He was glad to catch up with her!!! Mr. Parker was a rambunctious one year old with lots of energy and full of life!  Mr. Carter was a big help keeping Parker in line and catching him as he would escape.  Ms. Paige was an excellent help to mommie and an excellent model!!! We hope you guys had as much fun as we did!! Good Luck with school this year!!!! Thanks Claire!!!
