Well guys what can I say!!! This was a SUPER FUN family shoot!! They were full of energy and pizzaz!!!! Christie has been a friend of ours for a few years now and is also a photographer! She has been wanting us to shoot her family for awhile now and we finally had the opportunity to do so!!! Matt and Amy shot this time…………and can I tell you it was very, very hard for me to choose the images from the ones that Matt and Amy got!!!! You guys really ROCKED out this shoot!!! What great locations and great subjects you had to shoot!!!!

Oh! and a special thanks to the family owned business in Breaux Bridge………Thanks so much for letting us use your orange grove for some of the family shoot, which by the way came out super cute!! Matt and Amy were fortunate that some of the oranges had fallen and were able to play around a little bit!!! Thanks so much we really appreciate it!

Today we received our new camera in the mail! The Canon 5d Mark II…………Yikes! We are stoked about this new piece of equipment!!!! We had a blast last night at my mom’s house opening presents with the family!!! Matt was playing with the video function on the camera and it’s pretty decent for not knowing a thing about video!!!! So here you go its Emmy and Barbie!!!

{B}Fabulous……….WOW!!! That is all we can say about this girls style!!! She is AMAZING…….we absolutely love her vision for her wedding!!! As many of you guys know Matt & I love antiquing and finding vintage things for our portrait sessions! It is so our STYLE!!! fun…..funky……fresh……..Man! All these seem to describe Bethany!!! We were all a bit bummed on Tuesday when we had lots and lots of rain!! We were hoping to take some of her portraits outside knowing that we were shooting at Sunny Meade, where Bethany & Brennon’s Reception is being held and at Breaux Bridge Antiques!  But the 100% chance of rain kept us inside and I don’t think it was to our dismay!!!! Bethany once again ROCKED out another Session with us!!!!!

Bethany’s dress was hand made by her mother Mrs. Linda Daigle! She is amazing! Bethany and her mother uniquely designed her dress, adding different twists, from the original Vera Wang dress that was designed exclusively for the Barbie Doll!!! WOW! It is breathtaking the intricate work put into this amazing one of a kind designed wedding gown!

Bethany has played the piano for many years……..so it was very important for us to add this special touch to her bridal portraits! We were very fortunate and are very thankful to Ms. Toni at Breaux Bridge Antiques in Breaux Bridge!! She has a beautiful baby grand piano that you see in some of the portraits and she was very kind to let us use her facility to take a large portion of Ms. Bethany’s Bridal Portraits!!! We have loved shooting in and around this building for a few years now, even before it was renovated for the Antique Store!!! It is a jewel!!! Thanks so much to Mrs. Toni, her staff and vendors at Breaux Bridge Antiques!!! You guys are awesome!!!!!

What a FUN and rambunctious family!! These guys were FULL of energy and playfulness!!! Their kids are SUPER fun and love to be SILLY especially Quin, the little guy!  You guys really made for a FUN and INTERESTING shoot!!! After we shot for a little while downtown we headed to Butte LaRose for some shots at Nana’s beautiful home on the river!! Wow! It is so cool with lots of cypress and windows with great sun shine casting into the rooms!!! So awesome with lots of photo ops!! Thanks for taking us out to Nana’s beautiful home!! And Thanks Nana!!! Oh! And we can’t forget about the LSU fans that these guys are!!
