Wow……….what a day!!! Last Saturday was Amazing for Bethany and Brennon! They were married at the Family Church and had a fabulous reception at Sunny Meade. We love these guys!! They have impeccable style and are two wonderful individuals!! Bethany and Brennon love to antique and love vintage things as some of you guys might remember from their engagement portraits!  Their wedding was just beautiful……………..what do you think?

This little dress is a dress that Mrs. Linda, Bethany’s Mom made for her Barbie’s when she was a little girl…….it was her “something blue!”

This broach is a family heirloom…..it has been passed down from her great grandmother to Bethany and she loves “Cameo’s,” so she put it on her dress and also put one on her bouquet that we bought for her!

Special Delivery: The letter Bethany wrote for Brennon and had delivered to him before the wedding!

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SHOT of the NIGHT!!!!!!!

WoW! What a Wedding this was……..Kayla and Hoyt are such awesome individuals!!! They have been together for many years now and have both been looking forward to this special COLD day!!! It was FREEEEZING on January 09, 2010 when Kayla and Hoyt were married.  I have been really excited about shooting this wedding because not only was it going to a phenomenal wedding but some of my childhood friends were going to be there!!! It was so nice to see all of them!!! I wish Kelly would have been there but we will meet up next time!!! Hope you are feeling better Kelly!!!

Anyway….Kayla’s day started off with hair and makeup at the Studio Salon in downtown Breaux Bridge…. After this we headed over to Kayla’s brother’s house to wait for the bridesmaids to finish getting ready!!! Next it was off to L’Eglise where Kayla and Hoyt decided to have “The First LOOK!” …………… This is so much fun!!!! The first look is when we set the stage and the bride and groom get to see each other before the wedding!!! I know some of you traditional people DON’T like this! But there are some advantages: get the wedding jitters out of your system for both the bride and groom and also you have some GREAT portraits!!!! Kayla and Hoyt were our first couple to decide on the first look and we were very pleased!!! They were very sweet when they first looked at each other, Hoyt, saying, “You look beautiful!” Everyone together, “AWWWWWWWWW!”

The party was fabulous and the wedding exquisite!!! I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak and once again, thanks to a ROCKIN’ bride and groom!

{B}Fabulous……….WOW!!! That is all we can say about this girls style!!! She is AMAZING…….we absolutely love her vision for her wedding!!! As many of you guys know Matt & I love antiquing and finding vintage things for our portrait sessions! It is so our STYLE!!! fun…..funky……fresh……..Man! All these seem to describe Bethany!!! We were all a bit bummed on Tuesday when we had lots and lots of rain!! We were hoping to take some of her portraits outside knowing that we were shooting at Sunny Meade, where Bethany & Brennon’s Reception is being held and at Breaux Bridge Antiques!  But the 100% chance of rain kept us inside and I don’t think it was to our dismay!!!! Bethany once again ROCKED out another Session with us!!!!!

Bethany’s dress was hand made by her mother Mrs. Linda Daigle! She is amazing! Bethany and her mother uniquely designed her dress, adding different twists, from the original Vera Wang dress that was designed exclusively for the Barbie Doll!!! WOW! It is breathtaking the intricate work put into this amazing one of a kind designed wedding gown!

Bethany has played the piano for many years……..so it was very important for us to add this special touch to her bridal portraits! We were very fortunate and are very thankful to Ms. Toni at Breaux Bridge Antiques in Breaux Bridge!! She has a beautiful baby grand piano that you see in some of the portraits and she was very kind to let us use her facility to take a large portion of Ms. Bethany’s Bridal Portraits!!! We have loved shooting in and around this building for a few years now, even before it was renovated for the Antique Store!!! It is a jewel!!! Thanks so much to Mrs. Toni, her staff and vendors at Breaux Bridge Antiques!!! You guys are awesome!!!!!

be.BEAUTIFUL….

Kayla is a self proclaimed shy person with a sweet disposition and the most beautiful green eyes I’ve seen. Oh and did I forget dimples when she smiles, yeah I know, another words she’s beautiful and doesn’t even know it.  Matt and I decided to venture out of town for this Bridal shoot and we are so excited we did!!

Two of Kayla’s bridesmaids came along to help keep her beautifully coifed hair and stunning dress all in one piece, oh and lets not forget mom she came for all of the above plus much, much more. The team was great and on a funny note they made her laugh when I wanted her to be serious and couldn’t think of what to do when I needed her to laugh,LOL!

We were a little worried when we first arrived at the park, the sun decided to hide behind the clouds and it was really dark looking but it actually turned out to be a great benefit to us.  Real quickly we figured out how to play this to our advantage, I think we rocked it.

Since Kayla is such a shy person it took a little coaching to get her to loosen up but once she did boy oh boy were we amazed!!! Kayla weather you know it or not you are sexy in every since of the word and you have amazing images to prove it. You rock girl!!!!!
